Admiring The Ground In San Bernardino Mountains

When I go on hikes in the San Bernardino Mountains, I always like to admire the ground because there are many little objects located there. For instance, in late April I saw dried out acorns, wild grasses, and rocks. From a young age I always enjoyed admiring the small details to be seen on hikes in nature. Also, you do want to look at the ground from time to time to make sure you do not walk into the path of a rattle snake, which I did a couple of times back in the days when I went running on the backside of San Bernardino Mountains.
