Cross Stitching The Palm Tree Branches

Drawing a picture directly on the aida cloth was more interesting to me because I did not want to sit there and plot out a design on graph paper.

In the photo above I am continuing to cross stitch in the darker portions of the palm tree branches with green embroidery floss.

 

In the video above I show how I first cross stitched in the darker portions of the branches on the palm tree, and then how I went in to added the lighter portions.

The cross stitching of the branches begins to take shape as I add the lighter portions.
